MMA MEMBERSHIP LEVELS

Professional:
Membership
in this classification shall be open to any retail lender, sole
proprietorship, partnership or corporation or individual that is licensed
as, or acts as a mortgage lender as defined in the Bylaws. Professional
Members shall have one vote in the affairs of the
Association. You will recieve all
communications from the Association, the Mortage Press e-newspaper, and
the Fast Forward e-newsletter monthly. You will recieve the membership
directory and all MMA affiliated logo's to promote your company
membership in MMA. Your certificate of membership will be in your company
name. You will be listed by Company name on the MMA website. You may
serve on committees and vote on issues. You may also consider
becoming a Level Sponsor as this may be beneficial to you. Level Sponsor

Affiliate:
Due to the merger
of the 2 organizations MAM and MAMB, your membership status may have
changed. You may now be considered a Professional Member and dues are
based on the number of employess in your company. You can refer to the
By-Laws for further clarification. They are located under "about
MMA" Open to individuals,
partnerships or corporations whose business is other than that of a
mortgage lender but that have as interest in supporting mortgage lenders
in general and the Association in particular. This is a non-voting,
non-board of directors level membership. The Affiliate group is
represented on the MMA board of directors by a single vote. You will
recieve all communications from the Association, the Mortgage Press
newpaper, and the Fast Forward e-newsletter monthly. You will recieve the
membership directory and all MMA affiliated logo's to promote your company
membership in MMA. Your certificate of membership will be in your company
name. You will be listed by Company name on the MMA website. You may
serve on committees and vote on issues. There are Level
Partners/Sponsorships available for members who want more exposure.

Individual
Open
to individuals of a Professional and Affiliate nature who choose to be an
active member of MMA regardless of the membership status of the company
for which they work. This membership is not avaiable to company owners or
officers. This is a non-voting, non-board of director level membership.
All Mortgage Originators within this classification shall complete
training in Ethics and Minnesota Law. Applications need to be submitted by
Professional or Affiliate firms. This membership is by personal name only
and not company affiliated. You will receive all communications from the
Association. You will not recieve the membership directory, MMA logo for
marketing purposes. Your certificate of membership will be in only your
personal name. You will be listed on the MMA
website. You may serve on a committee but may not vote on
issues.
Non-Profit
- Non-profits or government affiliated agencies may also become
members. This is a non-voting membership.
Member
Lists The Membership Committee is
committed to promoting MMA’s mission to potential members with the goal of
increasing the organizations membership throughout the entire state of
Minnesota. The membership committee is responsible for planning activities
and meeting with mortgage groups that are informative and relay the
benefits of MMA membership.
